The weather is warm all year round in Hainan, though the best time to travel is between November and April. Prices are cheaper during the summer, as everybody wants to escape the snow in the winter!

The weather can change quickly, so it’s a good idea to carry an umbrella in case of a sudden rainshower.

Don’t forget to bring sunscreen!

Wear light clothing that dries quickly

Keep hydrated! Drink plenty of water every day. Fresh coconuts work well too!

Check weather conditions before travelling. There are occasionally typhoons in August and September, so be prepared.

It does get a bit cool in the winter, don’t forget to pack a few warm clothes just in case!
